Drawbridge

Drawbridge levelers are a cost effective solution for applications where slight height discrepancies between the dock edge and the truck bed of vehicles need to be adjusted, or when a standard drawbridge leveler cannot be installed in a specific area. For basic dock leveler applications, manual dock levelers are a cost effective and dependable option. Manual levelers, which serve as a link between your facility and the truck bed, are simple to use and consume no energy.
Loading bridges are used to manually and effortlessly span the gap between the warehouse and the lorry. Because they do not necessitate the creation of a pit, they are less expensive than hydraulic levelers or hydraulic loading docks. They are fairly simple to install, requiring just that they be attached to the buildings dock or to the platform. They do not require electricity and can be stationary or movable.

Aluminum Loading Bridges

The aluminum one is used to align the truck with the warehouse as well as to load and unload items. It is mounted over a supporting runner that features ball bearing wheels for easy sideways movement. A steel guide rail allows the bridge to slide.
When not in use, it is positioned vertically. It has a device that automatically seals the platform and a laterally fixed recoil arm that enables for an easy, safe, and slow descent.

Steel Loading Bridges

Steel loading bridges are distinguished by their strength and safety, and are intended for the passage of people and manual (pallet trucks) or motorized (forklifts) equipment in even the most adverse working conditions.

  • Sturdy steel upper platform with an etched non-slip surface; cold rolled profiles support the underneath.
  • Low-friction, zero-maintenance hinge; immune to dirt and foreign bodies.
  • Balanced leveling is achieved through the employment of alloy tension springs, which properly counteract the weight of the platform and enable smooth leveling between the warehouse and the vehicle. The vehicle’s lockable standby posture prevents collisions as it backs out and approaches.
  • Bridge types include sliding loading bridges, guide rail bridges, and fixed loading bridges.
Benefits of Draw Bridges

Drawbridges are used for loading and unloading process. It is installed at the end of the loading bay and slides along a rail, so it does not need a pit. They have the ability to bridge significant gaps. Below are the few benefits of draw bridges:

  • It is simple to move
  • Surface with anti-slip properties
  • Weather-resistant
  • Mechanical support to keep the vehicle from tipping over
  • Due to its anodized aluminum composition, it is free of rust causing components
